The African American Women Trucking Association's the Power of Change Initiative is a groundbreaking effort aimed at increasing the development and representation of Black Women while empowering and supporting Black women in the trucking industry.
This transformative program seeks to address the barriers and challenges faced by African-American women in the trucking profession and create opportunities for their advancement while providing mentorship to support their journey.
To amplify the impact of this initiative, the African American Women's Trucking Association has formed a strategic partnership with a renowned Education Partner in the transportation industry and Recruiting Services, an efficient and reliable transportation recruiting solution in the trucking industry.
Through this collaboration, the Power of Change Initiative will award educational scholarships specifically tailored to Black women pursuing careers in trucking.
The Power to Drive Change Initiative will provide the following:
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is a cornerstone of empowerment for black women in trucking. The Power of Change Initiative extends educational scholarships, relieving financial burdens. These scholarships encompass tuition, training materials, and more, enabling unhindered pursuit of dreams for both current and aspiring truck drivers.
Certifications and/or Endorsements:
"The Power to Drive Change" Initiative offers substantial backing to African American women in the trucking sector. This aid covers costs related to licensing, certifications, and career growth. Empowering women to excel, enhances their industry worth, enables better earnings, and propels them toward career milestones, supplying essential resources.
